For a long time, I described my work as creating soulful visuals.
It was the closest language I had for what I was trying to do. I cared deeply about beauty, but never beauty for beauty's sake. What interested me was the feeling beneath it. The story. The atmosphere. The meaning carried within a photograph, an illustration, a room, a brand, or an object.
